Shipping & delivery

Maktib ships across the United States. This page explains what happens after you place an order, how long delivery usually takes, and what you will be charged.

How fulfilment works

Orders ship direct from our supplier's warehouse to your door. Cutting out the retail middleman is what keeps our prices where they are, and it means we can carry a far wider range than a shop holding its own stock.

Returns and customer support are handled from our own facility in Houston, Texas. So while your parcel travels directly to you, anything that needs to come back goes to a US address, and the person answering your email works for us — not for a marketplace seller.

Processing time

Orders are picked, packed, and handed to the carrier within one to two business days. Orders placed before our daily cutoff (17:00 UTC) go out in that day's dispatch batch; orders placed after it are sent to the warehouse the next working day. The countdown shown on product pages reflects the real cutoff.

Delivery estimates

Most parcels arrive 3 to 10 business days after dispatch. The exact window depends on your destination and the shipping method you select at checkout. Remote addresses, public holidays, and customs inspections can add time.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed delivery dates. If a parcel is significantly delayed, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.

Shipping to the United States

We deliver to all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. — the 51 delivery jurisdictions within the country — along with Puerto Rico and the other US territories. Alaska and Hawaii are included at no surcharge from us, though carriers quote longer transit times for both.

• Continental US: typically 5–9 business days after dispatch.
• Alaska and Hawaii: typically 8–14 business days.
• Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and other territories: delivered, with extra time for customs processing.
• PO boxes and APO/FPO military addresses: supported by most, though not all, carrier options — available methods appear at checkout once you enter the address.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated live at checkout for your specific address and basket. You will see each available carrier with its price and estimated transit time before you pay — there is no shipping fee revealed at the final step. Ordering multiple items together is usually cheaper than placing separate orders.

Tracking

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after payment, and a second email containing your tracking number as soon as the parcel ships. Tracking information can take 24 to 48 hours to begin updating after the carrier scans the parcel.

Customs duties and import taxes

Prices on this site are shown in US dollars and exclude any import duties, VAT, or handling fees charged by your destination country. Where such charges apply, they are set by your local customs authority and are the recipient's responsibility. We cannot calculate or collect them in advance, and we cannot mark parcels as gifts or declare a value lower than the price paid.

Incorrect addresses and failed deliveries

Please check your address carefully before completing checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete or the carrier could not deliver it, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery; re-delivery shipping is charged again at cost.
