Bedroom lighting is judged at two moments: getting ready, and turning it off. Both want warm light — 2700K or below — because blue-heavy light is the part of the spectrum that suppresses melatonin, and a 5000K bulb over a bed is working against the room's only job. A bedside lamp you can reach without getting up, or a wall light on a switched flex, matters more here than brightness.
